The future of flooring, Expono LVT, only 5mm thick with built in underlay. It can be laid over existing flooring.
On this particular project the clients went over tiles which were underneath the kitchen including the island so this was the perfect solution. We also ran in into the hall and sitting room.
We used plywood underneath the sitting room so we maintained perfect levels throughout and no need for unsightly bars at doorways.
